I love EVERYTHING about this picture. This is Iris Apfel. She's 93 years young. She's a businesswoman, interior designer and fashion icon. In 2012, at the age of 90, she became a visiting professor at the University of Texas at Austin. Listen. Miss Iris is the bizness (no typo). Blue eyeshadow, red lips, funky glasses, gaudy jewelry and all!
I could do a post about finding your little light and letting it shine, but I won't. I could remind you to do you and forget about what everyone else thinks, but you already know. This photo pretty much sums it up: Be true to your heart. Be fearless. Be you.

Girl Power - Preschool Edition (Anala Beevers, 4 Year-Old MENSA Member)
She never leaves home without her map of America. She knows every state AND the capitals. By the tender age of 4 months old, she knew the English alphabet and when she was 1 ½, she knew her numbers. In Spanish.
Her name is Anala Beevers, she's adorable and she's so smart that MENSA invited her to be a member. MENSA is the organization for smart people. Really smart people. You have to score at the 98th percentile or higher on a standardized, supervised IQ or other approved intelligence test. So yeah, you gotta be smart.

The Inauguration Pic That Made Me Giggle
The 2013 Presidential inauguration was so dope. But, did we expect anything less?!?! I mean, come on. They're the Obamas! There are TONS of photos from yesterday's event, but there was only one that made me giggle.
The Obama girls seem like such well-adjusted, normal girls. And they're SO friggin' cute! In the midst of all of the pomp and circumstance, the girls were just being....themselves. #girlpower

My Pic of The Day!
Talk about girl power! This ballet dancer stopped traffic while dancing in the middle of 7th Avenue in New York during the filming of a Sony commercial. What I would do for those legs! :)
